Honestly, don't let that contest from stopping you from making more. I entered a contest at Gundamguy.blogspot and all the SRW looking Gundams got all the press and the prizes. I didn't even get mentioned. Confucius say: work doing what you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life.
And yes... A job well done is it's own reward, I learned that (more or less confirmed now, than learned) I learned that this last year being a Indy-Game-Dev in a skeleton crew.
By the way, Brickgale Blue is one of my best bots in the game. I have him at like LVL 5 now, and his excellent flying and all makes him awesome. I'd want the Black version more, but still the Blue one is awesome for me.
My other best bots include Baltheon (BV version best), Gywain, Destructor-Girl, and Haruka-Chan.
BTW, you know there is a 3rd Brickgale bot that you can get in the Garapon? He is called Brickgale Black and uses twin homing laser guns on his arms. I haven't gotten him yet, but I heard he is better than the other two.
